Gypsy Flamenco
Flamenco music is quite recent (no more than 200 years old),
even though its origins can be found in Arab, Sefardi
(Spanish-Jewish) and Christian Middle-Age music. It is said
that Flamenco emerged as a product of the mixture between two
cultures: the centuries-old "Andalusi" culture and
the Gypsy culture which appeared in Spain at the end of the
Muslim era (15th century).
Flamenco performances take place year-round in Sevilla,
Cordoba, and Granada.
