    Alcazar Gardens
  Strolling in the 55 thousand square meter Alcazar Gardens will surely bring you a blissful feeling. The garden is to be found right outside the Alcazar Palace and there are several water spouts that aid in providing a soothing atmosphere. This beautiful garden is teeming with verdant plants of all shapes and sizes. You will also find a goldfish pond in the center of the walkway bordered with tall greens. Similarly bordered with tall green plant hedges are the collective mini gardens of colorful flowers. During the summer season, several musical concerts are held in this site, most notable of which is the Cordoba Guitar Festival .

     Sierra De Cardeņa Y Montoro Natural Park 
  The Sierra de Cardeņa y Montoro covers almost 39 hectares of natural slopes. Its highest zenith is the La Colmena which is 828 meters high. 

  This natural park can be found in the northeastern peripheral of Cordoba . The park boasts of several dozens of bird species, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Many types of oak trees, pine trees, and olive trees are also found in this natural park. The park is also rich with granite rocks, locally called bolas , that are up to 1 meter in diameter. For nature lovers who wish to trek on this magnificent park, it is important to know that there are many cottages for rent, and there is only one hotel located in the nearby Cardeņa town. 

     Sierra De Hornachuelos Natural Park 
  The Sierra de Hornachuelos covers over 60 thousand hectares of land, and 95% of it is comprised of cork and oak trees. It is a component of the Unesco Biosphere Reserve for the Sierra Morena mountain range, The Sierra de Hornachuelos serves as domicile to several endangered species such as the lynx, black vulture, black stork, golden eagle and Bonelli's eagle. 

  The park is a favorite hunting spot for red deer and wild boar. Camping is also a treasured activity in the area. It is permitted to make camp sites in the free areas like Llano de los Perejiles, Puente de la Cabrilla, Pasada de Algeciras and Fuente del Valle.
